I've been so busy spinning between tasks
focused on basic needs and survival
calculating and scheduling
at the end of the day I reach for You
"What do you want?" You ask
"Just You"
"You are so exhausted. You'll fall asleep in my arms again"
"Do You mind?"
"Sometimes"
I understand that the people in my life
Get cheated of my time and attention
I do not stop and live in the moment like I should
And I thank You for being honest
I don't mean to disappoint so many
I still have much to learn
